Hotel Phoenicia in the 2010 Condé Nast Johansens Guide
Condé Nast Johansens are delighted to confirm that the Hotel Phoenicia Malta is included as a new entry in the prestigious 2010 Condé Nast Johansens Recommended Hotels & Spas Europe and Mediterranean Guide.
Just published, the Condé Nast Johansens Recommended Hotels & Spas Europe and the Mediterranean Guide is now in its 28th year. Appearing for the third time in a new compact size, the 2010 Condé Nast Johansens Guide remains highly visual with easy to use entries, clearer maps, greater portability, and with less paper, and therefore is more environmentally friendly.

Condé Nast Johansens remains the most comprehensive illustrated reference to annually inspected, independently owned hotels. With dedicated and highly trained Regional Inspectors, almost ten times as many properties are visited in order to narrow the final selection down to, quite simply, the best selection of accommodation for independent travellers.
Mr Charles Azzopardi, Phoenicia General Manager, said that: “This is a great opportunity for Malta and the Phoenicia to market itself on the luxury segment.”
The luxury Hotel Phoenicia is Malta’s oldest five star hotel and has recently completed the first phase of a comprehensive refurbishment project. With an investment of €2.5 million, this first phase included the refurbishment of the hotel’s reception area, lobby, Palm Court Lounge, Club Bar, Phoenix Restaurant and 50 per cent of the hotel’s bedroom stock.
