Inspirations Wedding Fair at Phoenicia

Inspirations Wedding Fair 2014 opened with a new addition last month, an exclusive reception with a gathering for journalists and television star Valentina Rossi who plays Pippa in top-rated TV show Il-Klikka. Valentina also acted as one of the hosts for Inspirations along with model Kurt Vassallo and both appear in the hotel’s advertising campaign.

Hotel Phoenicia's in-house Wedding and Events Executive Rachel Bezzina said, "Every couple wants to meet with today's most knowledgeable, up-to-date and unique wedding experts and this is why we have showcased them all under one roof, in order to create a cluster of expertise which is convenient for the busy bride and groom of today. We are planning our 2015 Inspirations Fair to be even bigger and better. We have even managed to ensure that once again entrance will be free, that’s important for young people on a budget and we are absolutely committed to keeping that going forward."

Based on the success of the 2014 fair, Inspirations Wedding Fair 2015 will be held once again at the luxurious Hotel Phoenicia as the longest-established wedding fair on the Maltese Islands, enjoying steady growth year-on-year and growing attendance from brides and grooms based on a free attendance model.

Inspirations Wedding Fair equips and engages couples to make the best choices in terms of their preferred decor, flowers, photography, travel and more, through a who's who of exhibitors and consultants who attend the three day fair. Phoenicia plans that brides to be in 2015 will see an array of the latest trends in flowers, bridal wear, gowns, destination wear, hair and make-up, honeymoon travel destinations, photography, chauffeur hire, accessories, gifts and much more such as seeing what the country's first 5-star hotel can offer as a spectacular venue for civil marriage ceremonies, wedding breakfasts, and evening wedding receptions with its 7.5 acres of beautiful lush gardens.

Exhibitors were very enthusiastic about the 2014 event, whose footprint covered the iconic Hotel Phoenicia Grand Ballroom as well as surrounding zones to showcase a broad array of options for couples planning for their big day. Local and international photography competition winner Charles Zammit from Fotogenic Studio has been working as a professional photographer for 15 years and has participated in Inspirations for the last 8 years, he said,"I've been coming to this Fair for years now and it's still as good as ever, I signed up quite a bit of business and I want to make sure that I'm back in again next year."

Another exhibitor who enjoyed the energy of the 2014 Inspirations was Victoria Zammit, owner of Handmade Concepts who said, "Congratulations to Inspirations and the team who put this excellent national Fair together, the organisation of the 2014 Fair was flawless. I was very happy with the way it went as it was promoted well and there was a good selection of stands as well as a good flow of people and a lot of interest throughout the event. I look forward to participating again in 2015."

One entrepreneur brought an added surprise value to the fair as Vanessa Borg chose Inspirations for the launch of her new business, weddings sales and rentals website and this was part of her strategy from the word go, she says, "Inspirations is the wedding fair that inaugurates the wedding season every year, it's really well known and gets a good crowd, so we planned to launch our new sales and rentals website at this landmark fair. It was our first time and I'm really pleased with the attendance and exposure. I can't wait for the next edition!"
