After three months of closure The Phoenicia Malta will once again reopen its doors on Wednesday 24th June, debuting a new look and feel for both the brand and guest experience.
“We have always had one goal for The Phoenicia Malta: to become renowned as the leading Urban Luxury Hotel in the Mediterranean. The history and beauty of this iconic hotel provided the stage, our huge investment in 2016 added the luxury, and we have used the last few months to create new experiences, and a new look, which shows the world we are ready to be at the forefront of safe and luxurious travel.” said Mark Shaw, owner of The Phoenicia Malta, one of The Leading Hotels of the World.
Ownership and management have been working with their creative design team to curate a new brand and positioning for the hotel which celebrates and enhances the hotel’s extensive history with a richer and more vibrant customer experience.
The hub of this new vibe will be the hotel’s Bastion Pool which will open to day-guests, complete with stylish new poolside cabanas, fresh service and an exciting ‘Summer at The Phoenicia’ events programme. Saturdays by the pool will feature live DJ and outdoor experiences complemented with a mouth-watering summer menu concocted by Executive Chef Daniel Debattista and his team, and refreshing cocktails created by The Phoenicia Malta Food & Beverage Director, Silvan Camilleri, to bring the energy of the Maltese islands to life. The new Summer at The Phoenicia Malta programme will be celebrated with an exciting launch on Saturday 4th July 2020 in collaboration with Events by Martin, this not to be missed event is by reservation only.
“This is a very special opportunity for us to offer this unique venue to the Maltese residents for Summer 2020, we are confident that many people will want to take the opportunity to enjoy our garden and relaxed poolside experience so close to the historic city of Valletta” said Brice Kemper, General Manager of The Phoenicia Malta.
Working behind the scenes over these past months the hotel team has implemented a myriad of subtle measures to ensure guests and employees feel completely safe without deflecting from the magical experience expected when visiting a five-star property. With its new look branding, programming and a stunning new wellness and spa offering set to debut later this season, The Phoenicia Malta looks forward to welcoming Maltese and international guests alike to its convivial urban luxury scene.
