Personality & Role Profile
You are an energetic and passionate person ready to assist the Outlets Managers in organising and ensuring efficiency within the assigned outlet. Achieve all targets concerning revenue, costs, quality and standards whilst increasing customer satisfaction and profit.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the running of the designated outlets.
- Manpower planning by weekly rosters.
- Manage staff turnover and absence.
- Maximise employee’s productivity and satisfaction.
- Manage outlets good image and suggest ways to improve it
- Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and food & beverage events
- Keep menus and pricing up to date.
- Keep abreast of current trends and new equipment.
- Make self-visible and available to guests and team.
- Monitor guest’s satisfaction (direct comments, reports and social media).
- Supervise team performance and encourage improvement.
- Update and monitor SOPs.
- Maximise interdepartmental cooperation.
- Delegate and assigns duties and responsibilities to subordinates.
- Participate in all relevant meetings and trainings.
- Assists colleagues on the floor in peak times and events.
- Issue reports on time as required.
- Control of department crockery, cutlery, glassware, linen and equipment
Desirable Experience, Qualifications, & Attributes
- Previous experience in a 5-star environment
- Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
- Excellent guest service skills.
- Excellent knowledge of food and drinks trends and techniques
- Excellent attention to detail
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
- Familiarity with restaurant management software, ideally ResDiary
- Hands-on experience with Micros Simphony point of sale and Opera PMS Hotel Software
- Holds a local Food Handling License in accordance with the Food Safety Commission of Malta
