Personality & Role Profile
You are an energetic and passionate person thriving to ensure that all our guests receive a warm and welcoming experience while maintaining the highest standards in guest experience bringing to life the essence of The Phoenicia Malta brand promise and values.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel in a friendly and professional first impression.
- Open doors for guest and visitors with a courteous and respectful manner
- Wishing farewell to guests as they depart the hotel, ensuring they leave with a positive last impression of their stay.
- Assist with the arrival and departure of guests, ensuring that transportation arrangements (taxis. Private cars, etc) are handled efficiently including help with the luggage.
- Coordinate with the Concierge, Front Desk and Porters to ensure seamless guest experience especially concerning Arrival and Departure Experience.
- Provide guests with relevant information about the hotel services including the F & B outlets and SPA facilities.
- Monitor and manage the hotel’s entrance and surrounding areas, ensuring cleanliness, safety and security protocols.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate issues to the relevant department if necessary.
Desirable Experience, Qualifications, & Attributes
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Professional presentation and excellent grooming standards.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining high service standards
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and guest services
