MPO Lounge ensues with a flute and harp duo presenting a light repertoire from eclectic genres. Works presented include movie soundtracks by eminent film composers including Morricone and Piovani.
Astor Piazzolla, revolutionized the tango into a new style coined nuevo tango, fusing jazz and classical music elements. His compositions, including Libertango and Oblivion are also interpreted. The Summer edition of this series also features popular semi-classical music by Piaf, Gershwin, Ellington and Lara amongst others.
Entrance is free but guests are required to reserve their seats by emailing [email protected]. Patrons will be seated in tables of 6 on a first-come first-served basis.
Food will be served between 8PM – 9PM as Kersten Graham performs an acoustic set. Drinks will be served from 9PM onwards as the main act goes on stage.
