Personality & Role Profile

You are an energetic and charismatic person thriving to provide a superb level of service to all your guests.  You will deliver a welcoming experience by taking care of guests’ bookings, greeting, seating and bid them farewell in our Food and Beverage outlets.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Handle booking system efficiently and keep guest’s profiles updated
  • Provide guests with up to date and accurate information on the outlet and hotel
  • Be aware of future booking constraints at all times
  • Have a good knowledge of all food and drinks offered
  • Co-ordinate large bookings with the Manager
  • Greet warmly incoming and departing guests
  • Engage naturally with guests
Desirable Experience, Qualifications, & Attributes
  • Excellent guest service skills and attention to details
  • Ability to work under pressure and unsupervised
  • A high standard of personal presentation
  • Confident, professional and welcoming personality
  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
  • Availability to work in shifts as needed
  • Hands-on experience with cash and ideally with Micros Simphony point of sale
  • Holds a local Food Handling License in accordance with the Food Safety Commission of Malta.

  • Have complete knowledge of the beverage list and food menus
  • Have full knowledge and understanding of the local regulations concerning the service of tobacco, wines and spirits

  • Proven previous work experience in a 5 Star environment.

Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious individual to join the Food and Beverage Service Team. As Food & Beverage Attendant, you will ensure the smooth running of the assigned station, that the standards are maintained throughout service, and that all reasonable guest requests are met.

The ultimate goal of all our staff is to ensure that our guests enjoy their visit to The Phoenicia Malta so much so that by the time they leave, they are already planning their next visit.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensuring seamless service at all times.
  • Providing intuitive service, to create exceptional experiences that result in lasting memories.
  • Creating honest emotional bonds with guests, in order to build loyalty and create genuinely exceptional memories.
