Phoenicia Spa & Wellness spans 1,200 square metres across two floors – a luxury wellness space where modern therapies meet a setting five centuries in the making.
Heritage sets the tone: during excavations, we uncovered one of Valletta’s original 16th-century fortification walls, built by the Knights of St John. Plans were redrawn, and the spa reshaped around this living piece of Maltese history.
Today, it’s the centrepiece of a wellness journey that looks to the future and honours the past. Named Best Spa Hotel at the International Hotel Awards 2024-2025, Phoenicia Spa & Wellness sets a new standard for heritage-led wellness in the Mediterranean.
